The RSC Group offers Western Canada's only Microsoft Business Solutions Education Centre. We offer monthly, classroom based training for RMS Store Operations led by Microsoft Certified RMS experts. Classroom Training 1 – Installation & Setup

• Installation – How to install RMS on a single machine and on a network for multiple users.
• Configuration – How to configure RMS during the preliminary setup
• Overview of RMS Administrator – How to create and connect to a sample database.  How to create and connect to an empty database to begin building your store.  How to backup and move a database.
• Introduction to RMS Manager – Setting up cashiers (users).  Creating departments/categories, suppliers, taxes, currencies, tender types and sales reps.
• Creating inventory items – how to create standard items, matrix items and non-inventory items.

Classroom Training 2 – Managing Inventory & Policies

• Completing the database setup – Item messages, time clock, customers, setting up accounts, shipping carriers, discounts and reason codes.
• Setting up store policies using configuration options – setting policies for ordering & inventory, options for customers, items, POS, purchase orders, reason codes and serial numbers.
• Introduction to the Inventory Wizard.
• Introduction to the Label wizard and Label Designer Utility.

Store Operations eCourse

Learn to use RMS on your schedule – online.

Microsoft Business Solutions offers intensive online training for RMS Store Operations. The RMS eCourse is approximately 20 hours in length and cover all aspects of Store Operations. Retailers wishing to learn at their own pace and on a flexible schedule will appreciate the online delivery method. Students have 60 days to complete the eCourse's 9 modules.

HeadQuarters eCourse

The HeadQuarters eCourse is 8 hours and follows a similar format to the Store Operations eCourse.  This is an excellent way to introduce yourself to the software required to run Retail Management System in a multi-store organization.
